31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN: TERRIFIER 3 (PREVIEW)

THE BUZZ AROUND ART AND TERRIFIER COULDNT BE HIGHER

From a franchise that started as a low budget film that became a cult classic, to a sequel that took over movie theatres after a limited theatre run, to now a pop culture horror icon gracing our screen with a chance to outearn another clown running on screen (looking at you Joker). The fans of Art and the Terrifier Franchise couldn’t be happier with where we are at right now with only even more to come. Also right when I thought we couldn’t get crazier, we get all of Art’s kills and antics on fucking Christmas holiday! We going to get tree star kills? Christmas light kills? Cookie and milk kills? Only Damien can dream up what we are going to witness.

This is meant to just be a light preview to talk about the hype and excitement around the film. I will have a detailed blog when I see the film here shortly. They have also found a star in Laura LaVera, who seems like she was just born to be a horror final girl. She also does a great job in a really enjoyable small budget film called The Well. Worth checking out if you love her like I do. She has the look, she is a very believable actress, is great in combat scenes in Terrifier 2 against Art and is able to turn from shocked scared witness of Art to a badass sporting wings and a sword to face a paranormal demon clown. Elliot Fullam as Jonathan also deserves some recognition. Being the boy obsessed with serial killers (which is way too common in today’s society) throws a nice bit of character to him as he is faced with Art during the films. While in awe of him, he is clearly one of the most terrified of him. How could you not be.

Now that Art has shown he is on Jason and Michael Myers levels of unkillable. It makes us viewers very curious in how Sienna and company will have a chance against this version of Art, and the Witch. The Witch seems like she may have a bigger role in this film and she is fucking awful to look at, in a great way. I freak out a bit each time she is shown like I’m not supposed to be seeing something so grotesque in the face. Bloody good job of making someone scary strictly through the makeup and effects on a face these days. I do wonder if little girl clown will be in this one. She was a cool little addition to the film and gave women someone cool to dress up as outside of Laura for their fandom! I couldn’t be more excited for this film and I couldn’t be more proud of us as fans and the horror community for helping elevate this movie to what it has become.
